The purpose of this journal is to provide rapid publication of topical papers featuring practical developments in the field of electronics and electrical engineering. The research journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA seeks to publish research progress in this field with an emphasis on the applied rather than the theoretical.

The research journal is publishing scientific regular papers dealing with the following science branches:

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is one of the largest technological universities in the Baltic States. Dating back to 1922, it was established as the first independent higher education institution in Lithuania.
Today the University is famous for its research contracts and collaboration with domestic and foreign industry sectors. The constant focus on the latest trends helps KTU to create solutions to various scientific and practical problems: from smart appliances to diagnostics tools and nuclear equipment.
The institution offers six main fields of study: technological, physical and social sciences, arts, humanities and biomedicine.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    • The submission file i.e. paper is in Microsoft Word file format (*.doc, *.docx). The submitted paper in any other format will be rejected without further notice.
    • Author name and affiliation will be placed through submission process under Step 3. (Entering the Submission's Metadata). In case of multiple authorship of the submitted paper, the author name and affiliation of each author will be specified under the same Step 3. by clicking 'Add Author'.
    • The E-mail is provided by author's institution and will be placed through submission process under Step 3. (Entering the Submission's Metadata). Please note that yahoo, hotmail, gmail or any other free E-mail adresses are not acceptable. If you use another person E-mail address or yahoo, hotmail, gmail the submission will be rejected without further notice (the same is valid for co-authors E-mails).
    • The authors guarantee form will be attached as a SUPPLEMENTARY FILE after paper submission (see How to upload suppl files). Please note that you have to print, fill-in all the fields, sign, scan and upload the form. Concurrent Submissions

In order to ensure sufficient diversity within the authorship of the journal, authors will be limited to having two papers under review at any point in time. If an author already has two manuscripts under review in the journal, he or she will need to wait until the review process of at least one of these papers is complete before submitting another paper for consideration.

The research journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA is an open access journal. Open access charges allow publishers to make the published material available for free to all interested online visitors.
