The requirements for the inspection of heating systems have been introduced in the Energy Performance Act. Thermal diagnostics of the system is an evaluation of the technical conditions of the heating and hot water installations, due to their energy efficiency and reliability of obtaining the required internal temperature in the building and delivery of the right amount of domestic hot water at the proper temperature. Data obtained from the diagnostics are useful for proper energy-efficient

The diagnostics of the abdominal cavity in children, especially in the neonatal-infantile period, requires knowledge in the field of anatomical and physiopathological differences as well as clinical symptomatology and pathology at every stage of the child’s development. Errors and mistakes in ultrasound diagnostics of the abdominal cavity in children result from many factors, including lack of experience in examining children and the knowledge concerning most frequent ailments and pathologies

Abstract
The article presents the case study of the comprehensive diagnosis of an existing residential building with natural ventilation. The results of quick diagnostics of thermal insulation of the building, the heating system, ventilation, domestic hot water preparation and the quality of the environment in the rooms were presented. Based on the data obtained by measurements, the energy performance of the building was prepared using the building certification calculation method. The energy

INTRODUCTION
The thermal diagnostics of heating systems and heat source is connected with the verification of compatibility of the required and actual power of the heat source and heating systems [1, 4]. Determining the required power is one of the tasks of thermal heat source diagnostics. The need to perform such diagnostics periodically is due to national regulations and standards and the directives of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. It is not always easy to determine

The indoor environment determines the occupants’ comfort and significantly affects the energy consumed for heating and ventilating the building premises. Therefore, the proper complex thermal diagnostics of existing buildings requires a fair assessment of indoor environment conditions. The method for measuring and assessing the quality of the thermal environment and the quality of the indoor air is demonstrated through the example of two single-family houses and one apartment in a multi-family

Serology tests with different sensitivity and specificity are most commonly used for leptospirosis diagnostics (Postic et al. 2000; Panwala et al. 2015). Several techniques are often used either together or sequentially to establish a correct diagnosis reliably.
The microscopic agglutination test (MAT) developed in 1918 by Martin and Pettit is considered the gold standard for serodiagnosis of leptospirosis and is still

Introduction
Quality assurance in microbiological diagnostics is the sum of all activities in a laboratory in order to guarantee the reliability of the obtained results. The World Health Organization (WHO) has defined quality assurance as “the total process thanks to which the quality of laboratory results may be guaranteed.” This means the right result, at the right time, on the right and properly collected material, from the right patient, interpreted in accordance with the current

current opinions on the diagnostics of some selective, and distinctive features of psoriatic arthritis concerning magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound and present some hypotheses on psoriatic arthritis etiopathogenesis, which have been studied with the use of magnetic resonance imaging. The following elements of the psoriatic arthritis are discussed: enthesitis, extracapsular inflammation, dactylitis, distal interphalangeal joint and nail disease, and the ability of magnetic resonance imaging to

redundancy. The research is based on experimental methods and case studies. The subject of the research is to evaluate the importance of complex ergatical systems, e.g., interaction between the subject and the object in its operational process. As the example of helicopter main gearbox diagnostics, as an object of complex engineering system, is stated hypothesis that there is possibility to determine changes in the characteristics of critical flight parameters and to determine the current level of flight

Cells I and II were used for alloantibody screening following the Autovue protocol. Positive samples were identified by red blood cell (RBC) panels (Panel A, Panel B, and Panel C, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Raritan, NJ). Alloantibody and CSAA frequency were established for both sexes. The database for RBC antigens estimated for the Colombian population

Our site performed a comparative analysis of the ORTHO VISION® (Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Raritan, NJ) and the Echo® (Immucor, Norcross, GA) blood bank analyzers, using the TAT and PT of standard blood bank tests as the outcome metrics. Tests were run in various combinations to reflect the standard workflow of a busy hospital transfusion service and under routine and immediate or STAT conditions. We also compared manual versus automated processing TATs for a variety of pre

The increase of immunization against blood group antigens has reinforced the need for automated extensive blood typing. The aim of this study was to assess both the validity and reliability of red blood cell (RBC) automated agglutination technology in testing for antigens of Kidd (Jk), Duffy (Fy), and MNS (Ss) blood systems. ORTHO Sera (Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Raritan, NJ) anti-Jka, anti-Jkb, Anti-Fya, anti-Fyb, anti-S, and anti-s reagents were each tested on RBC samples previously typed

INTRODUCTION
One of the directions of sustainable agrarian development in Ukraine is ensuring the implementation of the multifunctional role of agriculture, development of human resources, protection of the environment, genetic resources and biodiversity, etc. At present, Ukraine has no system for the preservation of the environment and diagnostics of its condition, in particular in rural areas, where excessive plowing and landfills become a threat to the local population. The agrosphere is

A standard procedure performed in case of prostate cancer for the purpose of obtaining specimens for the histopathology examination is biopsy carried out with transrectal ultrasound imaging. The paper presents the indications and techniques of performing prostate biopsy, as well as the types of biopsies together with the necessary preparation and the protection against its side effects for the patient. The paper also lists the necessary elements of the

Ultrasound examinations applied in the diagnostics of benign prostatic hyperplasia accelerated the diagnosis, facilitated the qualification to surgery and the selection of the treatment method. The assessment of the size of the prostate gland performed using the endorectal ultrasound examination is helpful in making the choice between transurethral electroresection and adenomectomy. In prostate inflammation this examination should be performed with particular gentleness due

While the molecular approach to the taxonomy of dermatophytes was able to determine the main trends of their evolution, it turned out to be unreliable in the classification and identification of several epidemiologically relevant species [25]. Pairs of species which are established in mycology, such as Trichophyton rubrum/T. violaceum, T. equinum/T

The usefulness of novel radiopharmaceuticals as well as the methods of image acquisition in sentinel lymph node diagnostics have also been assessed. The aim of this article is to present, basing on current guidelines, literature data as well as our own experience, the diagnostic possibilities of axillary lymph node ultrasound in patient qualification for an appropriate treatment as well as the role of lymphoscintigraphy in

. Pancreas adiposis is best defined in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. However, a series of works proved the usefulness in the diagnostics of that pathology of transabdominal and endoscopic ultrasonography. In that method, the degree of adiposis was based on the comparison of echogenicity of the pancreas and the liver, renal parenchyma, spleen and/or retroperitoneal adipose. Recently, the evaluation was expanded by the evaluation of the degree of pancreatic adipose with the pancreas
