DRIVING STYLE ANALYSIS AND DRIVER CLASSIFICATION USING OBD DATA OF A HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE

Ensuring the effectiveness of adaptive algorithms for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) requires online recognition of driving styles. The article discusses studies carried out during real driving cycles based on the GPS parameters and OBD system data of a hybrid vehicle. The work focuses on the search for measures of the speed and acceleration signals of the car and the measures determined on their basis that best describe the driving style responsible for the vehicle traffic safety

Microcomputer software simulating problems in Rh immune globulin prophylaxis and hemolytic disease of the newborn

Our purpose was to develop educational software that would simulate laboratory investigation of problems in Rh immune globulin prophylaxis and hemolytic disease of the newborn. An interactive, branching style program was developed using a 256K Penonal Computer (International Business Machines, Boca Raton, FL). The software has been used in over 125 institutions for preprofessional and continuing professional education.

Investigation of transfusion reactions through microcomputer education software

The purpose of this study was to develop educational software to simulate laboratory investigation of transfusion reactions. An interactive, branching-style program was developed using a 256K Personal Computer (International Business Machines, Boca Raton, FL). Over 75 institutions in the United States and Canada are currently using the software in preprofessional and continuing professional education programs.

HERITAGE AND INNOVATION IN SERBIAN 21ST CENTURY ARCHITECTURE – GENUINE TRADITIONAL BUILDING TECHNIQUES

style, filled with rammed earth. The roof was covered with straw. These were the so called “nabijače”, or “rammed earth homes”, with a strong wooden “bondruk” skeleton, filled with a mix of earth and chaff (that remained from milling the abundant grain) that was further rammed to be tougher. These houses were clearly only suitable during warm and dry days, which in turn meant that in the flood season whole villages would be badly affected. Houses with an adobe filling in the place of rammed earth

DISTRIBUTED TRUST INFERENCE MODEL BASED ON PROBABILITY AND BALANCE THEORY FOR PEER-TO-PEER SYSTEMS

Researchers have done much around how to measure trust degrees or levels by local and global style in a given distributed network. However, how to infer trust degree for a strange node efficiently in a large-scale distributed environment was little done. This paper focuses on this problem, and proposes a novel trust model based on balance theory and probability theory. We firstly design a simple direct trust model for evidence computing, then construct trust relations network and trust

of the authors’ research was to identify its original Mannerist form and the chronology of transformations. An attempt was made to identify and present the form and architecture of the palace as well as the transformations introduced during two building actions: in Baroque style in 1781 and in Neo-Baroque style from 1905 to 1911. 2. DESCRIPTION OF THE LAYOUT The residence was built around two courtyards: a stately west courtyard and a garden (now utility) east courtyard. The first one is square

ACOUSTIC-PHONETIC FEATURE BASED DIALECT IDENTIFICATION IN HINDI SPEECH

Every individual has some unique speaking style and this variation influences their speech characteristics. Speakers’ native dialect is one of the major factors influencing their speech characteristics that influence the performance of automatic speech recognition system (ASR). In this paper, we describe a method to identify Hindi dialects and examine the contribution of different acoustic-phonetic features for the purpose. Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC), Perceptual linear

ANALYSIS OF THE MULTI-CHANNEL THREEDIMENSIONAL PROBABILITY CSMA PROTOCOL WITH MONITORING FUNCTION FOR WSN

For the wireless sensor networks (WSNs), MAC layer protocol, relating to system throughput, involving functions of system, concerning the consumption of system energy efficiency, etc. other system indicators, is very important. With the development of WSN, involving vary businesses, the amount and style of data which the sensor nodes detecting is large and divertive. Based on three-dimensional probability CSMA protocol, the proposed protocol, multi-channel three-dimensional probability CSMA

INFLUENCE OF MOTORIZATION DEVELOPMENT ON CIVILIZATION DISEASES

The health style of the population has deteriorated in the last 10 years, given the possibilities offered by an increasingly advanced civilization. The paper attempts to find the answer to the question whether the development of motorization has an effect on civilization diseases. To this end, the paper began with an analysis of the registered number of means of transport in Poland and an analysis of the number of cases of malignant and respiratory tract cancers. Then, the focus was on the

Associations between insecure attachment styles to parents and suicidal ideation in adolescents with depression

impairments, such as higher risk of school dropout, poor psychosocial functioning, mood disorders, and externalizing disorders (10, 15). These problems can often persist long into adulthood if they go unrecognized (16). Among the potential risk factors implicated for suicidal ideation (14, 17-20), insecure attachment to parents may be particularly important to address in treatment. A better understanding of the role of relational factors, such as attachment style, in the development of suicidal ideation

Speed Compliance in Freeway Variable Speed Limit System – Case Study of the Prague City Ring

Many previous studies have confirmed the strong relationship between speed compliance and the frequency and severity of traffic accidents. Variable speed limit (VSL) system as a measure to improve traffic safety enables the freeway system to change its posted speed limit based on various traffic and environmental conditions. Such system helps drivers to recognize the upcoming events, to adjust their driving style and in such way to address speed variation of the traffic flow. This is called
