Protective effects of M8-B, a TRPM8 antagonist, on febrile- and pentylenetetrazol-induced seizures

8 (TRPM8), which acts as a cold temperature sensor, belongs to the TRPM subfamily. It is a nonselective ion channel with low calcium permeability. Its endogenous ligands are phosphatidylinositol biphosphate and lysophospholipids (Gavva et al., 2012).
