Design of Monitoring System for Rural Drinking Water Source Based on WSN

In order to solve the existing traditional rural drinking water monitoring in a lot of manpower, material resources, real-time, this paper introduces a WSN based on the rural drinking water source monitoring system design, the system consists of five parts: water quality monitoring, soil monitoring node node, node, routing node and gateway server. Water quality monitoring node, soil monitoring nodes send the collected data to the gateway node through the wireless module sent directly, or

MONITORING OF NITRATES AND PHOSPHATES IN WASTEWATER: CURRENT TECHNOLOGIES AND FURTHER CHALLENGES

Consumers expect water supply companies to deliver safe drinking water that meets both health quality standards and aesthetic requirements such as colour, turbidity, taste and odour. Current water quality assessment methods of these parameters, which form the basis for sound water resources management, are mainly laboratory based, require fresh supply of chemicals, trained staff and are time consuming. Real-time water quality monitoring is essential for National and International Health and

solutions. The distinct feature of the proposed system is that the detection is performed in real time, without the need for additional sample processing or chemicals. This bacteria detection method would be of benefit in a broad range of applications, ranging from water quality monitoring in wastewater treatment facilities to safety assurance in healthcare and food industry.
