DESIGNING AND PROTOTYPING A SENSORS HEAD FOR TEST AND CERTIFICATION OF UAV COMPONENTS

The project proposed in this paper deals with the design and the development of an embedded test system able to characterize both electrical and mechanical performances of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) propulsion subsystems (motor and propeller). The measurement data that can be collected are of great interest for professional applications, as well as for amateur makers. Starting from the measures acquired by the presented system, it will be possible to deliver certificates that guarantee the

PRESENT RESEARCH SITUATIONS AND FUTURE PROSPECTS ON BIOMIMETIC ROBOT FISH

As mankind steps into the 21st century, the exploration of the ocean also enters a new phase. In the recent decades, the research on biomimetic robot fish has attracted scientific communities’ attention increasingly. With its character of high flexibility and intelligence, biomimetic robot fish have become one of the research focuses in the field of underwater robots in ecent years. This paper mainly describes the classification of propulsion modes and the corresponding characteristics, the

STUDY OF THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES IN INLAND WATERWAY TRANSPORT

A study has been conducted on the use of alternative energy sources for propulsion of a vessel in inland waterway transport. It is clear that at this stage it is most appropriate to use a vessel designed for short-haul trips between two banks of a ferryboat for passengers and luggage or for recreation and entertainment. On this basis, research has been conducted on a newly designed and built vessel to carry up to 12 people. The drive is fully powered by 180-Ah batteries at 48 V. The batteries

GENERATING AND MODELING OF BRAKING CURVE AND THE ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF AUTOMATIC STOPPING OF THE TRAIN

can be used to verify the effectiveness of the braking controller and the adjustment of the terms, and the change of these algorithms affects the shape of the generated braking curve of the train. It has been shown that the analysis of a failure of the propulsion car revealed the existence of a safe braking area. The performed statistical analysis confirmed the normal distribution of the scatter of braking results, for which the regression model fitted.
