MODELING OF THE CONTROLLED TRACTION POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM IN THE SPACE-TIME COORDINATES

The problems of the traction power supply system calculation are considered in the article. The authors proposed the space-time model, which is based on the analytical functions of the current- and voltage-drop distributions in the contact network. The usage of the proposed model is shown for the control law calculation both to stabilize the voltage at the pantographs of the electric rolling stocks and to reduce the power losses.

INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGIES FOR EFFICIENT POWER SUPPLY IN TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

The main directions of development of the energy-saving technologies in electrified transport systems are considered in the article with taking into account the flexible regulating features of modern power equipment. The proposed theory and principles of functioning allow understanding the optimal control laws for converters, accumulators, and renewable energy sources in their integration into traction power supply systems. Research opens the possibility of the installed power of the required
