Antibiotic Resistance Among Uropathogenic Escherichia coli

recommended for the treatment of UTIs. The resistance to antibiotics of UPEC isolated in different regions of the world (European countries, North America, Asia, and some countries of Africa) was compared. The increase of resistance to fluoroquinolones, which was significantly higher in developing countries than in developed countries, has been revealed.
